Team USA Shines at WRO International Friendly Event in Odense, Denmark

The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) International Friendly Event in Odense, Denmark, was a spectacular display of innovation, teamwork, and robotic prowess. With over 250 teams from 42 different countries, the competition was fierce, and the air was filled with excitement and anticipation.   The event took place in September 21st - 24th, 2023.

Team USA, composed of bright young minds aged 8-18, showcased their skills and determination, resulting in their best overall finishes in international competitions to date. The highlight of the event was the outstanding performance of Team JAW in the Junior division. Comprised of the awesome team, Jack and William, Team JAW secured a well-deserved 3rd place finish, bringing home a bronze medal for the USA.

The journey to the podium was not an easy one, as Team JAW faced stiff competition from some of the brightest young minds from around the world. However, their hard work, dedication, and innovative approach to robotics ultimately paid off, earning them a spot among the top three teams in their division.

The success of Team JAW and the entire USA delegation at the WRO International Friendly Event is a testament to the talent and potential of young American innovators. It also highlights the importance of fostering a love for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) from a young age.

As we celebrate the achievements of Team JAW and all the participants at the WRO International Friendly Event, we also look forward to their future endeavors. The next stop for Team JAW is Panama, where they will compete in another international competition. We have no doubt that they will continue to make us proud and represent the USA with honor and distinction.

In conclusion, the WRO International Friendly Event in Odense, Denmark, was a fantastic opportunity for young innovators from around the world to come together, learn from each other, and showcase their skills. Team USA, and particularly Team JAW, demonstrated that the future of robotics and STEM is bright, and we can't wait to see what they will achieve next. Congratulations to all the participants, and good luck to Team JAW in Panama!
