World Robot Olympiad is an international robotics competition that aims to promote science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education for young people. It is held annually in different locations around the world and involves teams of students who design, build, and program robots to compete in various challenges. The competition is open to students of all ages and is divided into categories based on age and type of robot.
"This is Jodie - She LOVE, LOVE, LOVES your PRODUCT!"
Tell the world about how great your product is!
Get you child excited about robotics with this easy to start but difficult to master robotics competition. Entry level competitions like SumoBots offers fun and exciting robotics action that focuses on the building aspects more so than coding. Work from home and compete nationally! We also provide robot training on-line for new teams so that way you can have a minimum level of success at our competitions. Gone are the days of students not being able to participate because they can't afford a coach!
WRO - USA has 4 Categories that offer advancement strictly on robot performance. Teams are rewarded for real time scores and not reliant on pre-designed projects. With no adult coaches allowed in the pit areas this is a truly kid and young adult driven competition. However, for those teams who enjoy the project based competitions Future Innovators is a standalone project based category and is a great opportunity for advanced teams who enjoy open source robot fabrication and design.
Many other competitions require a highly skilled technical coding coach for a kids to compete. Success is highly dependent on the coaches skill level. Our goal is to empower kids and families to participate without needing high-cost coaches to feel successful. The National Organization offers online help with in-season missions and while you wont be able to win using only online coaching, your team will get a good foundation to build from for the future.

That's Exactly How I Felt! Which Is Why I Helped Create USEL Youth Robotics Competitions Along with my wife and our partner William Wong. Here's Our Story Of How We Got Into Robotics...
My Wife Ericka and I had always been interested in technology, but we had no experience in robotics. So when our son expressed an interest in joining a Lego robotics team a decade ago, We weren't sure where to start.
Despite our lack of experience, my wife and I were determined to support our son's interests and we decided to form a team of our own. At first, we struggled to keep up with the more experienced teams, but we were determined to improve. We spent hours researching and learning about robotics, and even reached out to other coaches for advice.
Over time, our team began to improve, and we eventually started winning local competitions. Encouraged by our success, We decided to take things to the next level and entered the team in WRO National Championships.
To everyone's surprise, including his own, Our team excelled at the national level and won several championships in the years that followed. As word of our success spread, we became a sought-after coach for public school teams and we were eventually asked to be the national organizer for World Robot Olympiad - USA.
Through our hard work and dedication, My wife and I had not only inspired our son, but we had also touched the lives of countless young people, showing them that anyone can learn and excel in robotics. Now we want to show you how you can be just as successful! Join WRO today and start climbing the ranks at our competitions. One day you can qualify for Team USA and represent our great country at an international finals!
