The Ultimate Robotics Showdown... Code, Compete, Celebrate...
What Is USEL RoboPalooza?
RoboPalooza is a thrilling nationwide hybrid robotics event where teams compete in online Robotics challenges in order to qualify for the in-person event. Over the course of several weeks, teams submit videos of their solutions, vying for rankings based on speed, accuracy, and skill.
Top-performing teams, judged by the USEL team, advance to a live, in-person robotics duel. Beyond the intense competition, participants can enjoy live music, food trucks, and fun activities.
The event culminates in a festive ceremony and dance party. Open to ages 8-18 of all skill levels, any robotics platform is welcome at this competition!

How To COmpete At USEL ROboPalooza
1. Kick-Start with Registration: Mark your calendars! Event registration goes live on October 2nd. Secure your team's spot by paying the registration fee.
2. Gear Up for the Challenge: The adrenaline begins to flow as the first Online Challenge is unveiled on Jan 20, 2024. Keep an eye on our official channels - YouTube, website, and social media, where the challenge will be broadcasted.
3. Time to Shine: Teams, you have a tight window to strategize, innovate, and execute! Ensure you film your team, including coaches, collaboratively working to meet the challenge as per the provided rule set.
4. Video Submission: Once your solution is ready, submit your video masterpiece to the USEL judging panel for evaluation.
5. Round Two: But wait, there's more! After scores are settled for the first challenge, a second electrifying task will be announced. Same rules, same thrill!
6. The Grand Finale at Toyota Arena: Based on cumulative scores from both challenges, teams will earn their place at the iconic Toyota Arena in Southern California. While the top-tier teams duel for the grandest prizes, rest assured, every participating team and their families are in for a rollercoaster of fun, as they immerse themselves in a robot festival crafted with pure joy in mind!

Robot is known as Poke. He racked up many wins this season and his robot intimidated opponents. Poke Finished 2nd at Nationals and had an 85% win rate in 2022.
Robot is know as Ugly Bunny competes regularly and has built a robot that you can expect to see on the podium regularly.
A crowd favorite with the robot known as Hugs Bunny she may be small but her robot packs a powerful punch. A 1st year competitor who finished 5th at National Championships.
